Abseiling/Rock Climbing

We are the envy of most other centres with our natural 18th century cut-limestone climbing tower, we have every level possible available, even if you are afraid of heights you can try your hand at bouldering.

Clothing requirements – Outdoor clothing, runners/trainers (leather soles not allowed)

All climbing instructors at Team Dynamics Kilkenny will have one of or all the following qualifications:
S.P.A. =          Single Pitch Award
RCL3   =          Rock Climbing Level 3
RCL4   =          Rock Climbing Level 4
M.I.A. =          Mountain Instructor Award

All of the above qualifications enable one to act as a Senior Climbing Instructor, which is recognised by B.O.S. Bord Oiliuint Sleibhe (The Irish Mountain Training Board.)
